![]() Peejay a.k.a. Paul Gee was born in Darwin - Australia, given the name Paul George, son of Cape Verdean parents. His love for music came from the influence of his older brothers that were musicians. In school he used to play and sing with his friends and also play at parties as a DJ. In 1997 Peejay, one of his brothers (ACC) and a friend (Caly) form the band called "Melodee", zouk style music with a fusion with R&B, and they made a success with a song called "Pretty Sexy Lady".
